Parklife 2012-Rumors

It was only last week that indie powerhouse festival Harvest had its lineup revealed to unanimous applause. And this week we’re dealing with the lineup of dance festival Parklife, due to drop tomorrow morning at 8am. Whilst the rumor mill doesn’t work as actively over a festival like Parklife, there have been some names confirmed, and others being tossed around by the media. So without further a due, here is what we might be seeing tomorrow morning.

Art Department-The DJ announced via their page on SongKick that they would be playing the festival.

Chairlift– This artist announced she’d be hitting our shores via her twitter account, in no uncertain terms.

Labrinth-Leaked in an interview that he would be playing the festival .

Modestep-Published dates on their website confirming Parklife!

DJ Fresh– In a similar situation to Modestep, dates were published on his website before being quickly taken down.

Rumors are flying around for Parklife, with its announcement due to arrive tomorrow!

Strongly Rumored

Grimes-Hoo boy! Grimes said she’d be out here around October-November, and didn’t appear on the Harvest first announcement. Parklife it is!
Sleigh Bells– Didn’t appear on Splendour or Harvest and have maintained they’ll be making two appearances in 12 months, one on the back of a festival. Looks like Parklife could be a winner!
Ting Tings– Again, maintained they’d be here twice, for festivals and headline shows. Could be Parklife!
PNAU, Fatboy Slim, Siriusmo, Dirtyloud– All leaked by AudioTech

nica earlier this month as rumors. Not the most credible source, though these names aren’t unlikely.
Kimbra, Joker, Feed Me, Magnetic, Doctor P, Funtcase-All name-checked by Perth based blog InsideDubstep
